Christmastime
The Christmas season has officially begun. No it didn't begin the day after Halloween, it didn't start weeks ago when the stores started breaking out the Christmas trees. Today, November 25th, is the start of the season. One month until Christmas. That, in many people's minds, means one month of shopping, baking, decorating, and pushing and shoving in lines to get that one perfect gift. It is so sad the fact that Christmas has gotten so commericial. I know I'm sounding just like Linus from the Peanuts Christmas special, but it's true. Imagine if people everywhere actually stopped and reflected on the true Reason for the season...maybe then people wouldn't be shoving in lines and fighting in stores. Also, I'm getting fed up with people saying "Happy Holidays" cause they want to be "politically correct". This is America. If people want to say "Merry Christmas" they should be allowed to with no rebuttal from the liberal Scrooges of this country. Anyways, that's enough ranting from me for one post. Hope everyone had a Happy Thanksgiving!!
